Refund & Returns Policy

At Select Sweets, we take great care in packing and shipping your order. Due to the nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns for food items unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or store credit for change-of-mind purchases, incorrect selections, taste preferences, or if you simply no longer want the product. Under Australian Consumer Law, businesses are not required to provide refunds for change-of-mind purchases.

Damaged, Incorrect or Faulty Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • Damaged during transit
  • Incorrectly supplied
  • Faulty or unsafe
  • Significantly different from what was ordered

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the product and packaging

We will assess the issue and may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund where appropriate in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Melted Chocolate & Warm Weather

Chocolate and confectionery products may soften or melt during transit, particularly during warmer months.

While we take reasonable steps to protect products during shipping, including the use of ice packs where appropriate, Select Sweets cannot guarantee products will arrive unmelted once they leave our premises.

Ice packs are designed to help keep products cool for approximately 48 hours but are not guaranteed to prevent melting under all weather conditions.

We recommend selecting Express Post during hot weather. Refunds or replacements will not be provided for minor melting or softening that does not affect the quality or safety of the product.

Delivery Issues

Please ensure your shipping address is correct before placing your order.

We are unable to provide refunds for:

  • Incorrect addresses supplied by customers
  • Parcels delayed by the courier
  • Failed delivery attempts where the parcel is returned to sender

If a parcel is returned to us, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the order.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to a refund, replacement, or other remedy where required by law.
